About Me

My name is Shannon, a 23 year old recently graduated nurse from Perth, Western Australia. I’ve been in the UK since August 2019 to pursue my career as a nurse in the Major Trauma unit in Manchester.
This blog is about my experience of deciding to pack up my life and move countries, my struggles and stress of registering here and my experiences of starting my career as a Registered Nurse.
I do not class myself as a very creative person or particularly strong writer. However I am passionate about sharing my experiences in the hope it helps others.
